Faint Pulse is a multi-media organization that’s redefining the world of video gaming. Founded by Matt Vicks, Faint Pulse began as a passion project rooted in Matt’s love for gaming as a way to unwind during high school, college, and long shifts at his local Domino's Pizza. What started as a hobby soon evolved into an obsession, with Matt investing in a variety of games, cutting-edge technology, and the latest gaming consoles. His newfound passion led him to create a space where players from around the world could connect, compete, and have fun—sometimes with 4-6 players at a time.
 

As Matt became more immersed in the gaming community, his online friends began to ask, “When’s the next tournament?” That’s when the idea for Faint Pulse started to take shape. At first, Matt wasn’t sure how to bring this vision to life, but with a little organization and a desire to take his gaming love to the next level, he began planning his first tournament.
 

Starting small, Matt organized a tournament for 6 players who pooled their entry fees to create a prize pool. The competitors not only fought for the prize, but for ultimate bragging rights, until the next time they met online.
 

The real turning point came when Matt teamed up with Vice Presidents Aaron Gibson and Brian Simpson. This partnership introduced a new level of excitement—live commentary. With announcers like Lightning and Ace, tournaments were now infused with play-by-play commentary, trash talk, and humor, much like a traditional sporting event. The live broadcast, streamed via Faint Pulse’s social media channels, quickly gained traction, and the fanbase grew.
 

In just a short time, Faint Pulse has expanded beyond its humble beginnings. Today, you can experience Faint Pulse on a variety of platforms: your computer, laptop, smartphone, tablet, social media accounts, and even TV.
 

Looking ahead, Faint Pulse has big plans. We're developing new projects, including an anime book, comic strip, and original video games. And with Lightning & Ace continuing their live commentary, the journey is just beginning.
